This all started about a year and a half ago, when I was fooling around with Twitter and started seeing these short, 6 second videos from something called Vine. I asked around, asking some of my good friends what it was. I decided to check it and created an account. I messed around with it a bit, took video of my cats and catching my wife and kids doing silly things. We then started remaking movies, and television shows, and even commercials. It turned out to be a lot of fun. People kept asking us to keep up with them, making requests until things finally got real last summer while vacationing on Cape Cod, Massachusetts: we were recognized. My entire family was recognized, and the two teenagers that recognized us started quoting our vines and describing their favorites. All because of a 6 second app on my Iphone 4S. That was pretty cool. I'm not going to lie, that was pretty cool. We have since expanded into the YouTube world and are now trying out streaming on twitch.tv. Hope you enjoy the family. |

Frequently asked questions:
When did you start using Vine?
We started vining in February of 2013, and began with some stop motion vines of Legos and of our cat. We then went on to start making little, silly skits.
Do your daughters have Vine? What are their names?
No, they do not. They usually watch the vines on my profile page, over and over and over again, and of course laugh at themselves. I'd much rather keep their names off the internet until they get older. We can call them 'Little Rocket and Mini Rocket' for the time being.
Does your wife enjoy making vines as much as you do?
I'm not sure anyone enjoys them as much as I do. She started off vining, but then kind of grew out of it. Now she just watches them when I throw them in front of her face.
